Our story really belongs to a group of kids from the nearby Kingdom of Fortemore — different, special, and full of heart.
Oliver is the storyteller. His imagination is so big, it practically bursts out of him. When the world feels too harsh, he slips into his own stories — but even when he feels like no one understands him, his creativity pulls his friends together.
Sofia is an artist who says everything through her paintings. She’s quiet, maybe too quiet sometimes, and that makes her an easy target. Luckily, she has Zora, her fierce, firecracker of a friend, who never lets anyone pick on her without a fight.
Amir is smart — brilliant, really — but anxiety wraps around him like vines, making it hard to step forward. His friends never give up on him though. They help him see that being scared doesn’t make you weak; it makes you human.
Luna has a heart as big as the whole kingdom. Animals flock to her like she’s one of them, and she stands up for anything — and anyone — that can’t stand up for themselves. Her kindness shows her friends that real bravery often looks soft, not loud.
Together, these kids are the heartbeat of Fortemore — each of them carrying their own scars, but also their own strengths.
The Legend Everyone Grew Up Hearing
Long before these kids were born, there was a dragon named Zephyron — a massive, terrifying creature with emerald green scales and a roar that could shake the ground. Stories say Zephyron once rained fire down on villages and left the fields blackened and smoking.
But Zephyron’s story wasn’t just about fear — it was also about facing fear. Parents would tell their kids: “Be brave, even when you’re scared out of your mind. That’s how you beat the dragon.”
There’s a prophecy, too — an old one, whispered late at night:
“One day, when the stars realign, Zephyron will rise again… and only the brave will stand.”
The kids don’t know it yet, but this old story is about to crash right into their real lives.
